Imagine waking up burrowed under a warm comforter in a literary themed room to the smell of fresh coffee and muffins baking in the oven. Clad in your comfiest clothes, you shuffle to the great room where crashing waves and endless sky fills the vast windows. Seagulls soar by. A hummingbird tastes nectar from a feeder on the porch. A few other writers or artists are present, curled up on the couch or set up with a computer at the long dining room table, quietly working. You grab a mug of hot beverage and join them.

The purpose of this retreat is inspiration and time for you to make progress on your writing or art in a peaceful and beautiful location in community with other writers and illustrators. Breakfast and lunch are quiet affairs, where delicious food magically appears for you to eat when you are ready. Pairs or small groups may slip out together for walks on the beach. Community building starts in the evening, with a lively meal around the large table and then gathering before a crackling fire to share work and stories and experiences.

The official retreat is three days, two nights, but you can register to check in the night before and/or for extra days added to the end.
